David J. Frinsco is the President of The Turnaround Management Company. He has over 33 years experience in the refining and petrochemical industry. The first 14-years of his career were spent on the operating company side in maintenance operations and turnarounds. He later joined the Basis Petroleum corporate turnaround group which had responsibility for the preparation and execution of turnarounds in a three refinery system.
He has held several positions in The Turnaround Management Company both in Operations and Business Development. Now, he leads WTMC in its vision to remain the contractor and employer of choice in the turnaround industry.
Director, Internal Operations & Finance
As the Director of Finance and Administration, Tricia Beckman oversees the accounting, human resources and IT functions of WTMC. She joined the company in 2007 but has worked in finance and accounting for over 25 years.
Beckman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Stephen F Austin State University in 1987 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1993. She has served as the Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager for multiple firms.
Mike Bischoff brings over 37 years of experience in management and sales to his Business Development position at WTMC. He’s been working with the company’s customers since 2004 and draws upon past successes to bring the best solutions to the table each and every time.
Mike is responsible for business development for all WTMC services and products. He builds relationships with existing clients and field personnel as well as developing new customers. He has numerous professional certifications and achievements including several equipment design patents and published articles.
For anyone who has interacted with WTMC on the employee side you have almost certainly met Rita Bennett, at least on the telephone. Her sole focus is to find, recruit and pre-qualify the very best candidates to fill the many assignments WTMC have available. In addition, Bennett manages the on-boarding process for new employees.
Bennett’s experience is extensive having been in Human Resources since 1994 and in the Oil & Gas industry since 2004 when she joined WTMC. For the past two plus years she has been the primary recruiter for the company. Bennett’s career began in the banking industry where she utilized her Bachelor of Science with a Finance major and Marketing minor.
The Human Resources Administrator position at WTMC is the domain of Janene Aguilar. She has been with the company for eight years but has 19 years of accounting and human resources experience. After graduating from Letourneau University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Aguilar worked in the financial industry for eight years followed by nine years with a customer service firm.
In her role with WTMC Aguilar administers employee benefits programs and assists employees with questions in regards to company benefits. In addition, she ensures the company complies with all legal and government regulations, assists various functions of the company as well as developing and implementing personnel policies.
Contracts, Safety & Training Manager
Arthur comes to WTMC with 25 years of management experience in project controls, maintenance and training. After graduating from the U.S. Navy College of Advanced Electronics and serving six years in the military, he distinguishedhimself as an innovative gas turbine digital and analog controls specialist. He began project planning in 1988 and was promoted to Senior Planner/Scheduler in 1990. In the role of Training/Process Manager at WTMC, he manages internal and external training programs and performs technical interviews with employee candidates.
In his leisure, Arthur serves with a passion as the Executive Director of Character Camp, a premier youth charity that has helped thousands of children to become more productive citizens who are ready to be a benefit to society.
Currently the newest member of the WTMC family, Andrea Davis came on board in August 2014. Her role will primarily be as an Account Manager, while also assisting with Recruiting. Andrea brings over 14 years of experience in Account Management and 6 years experience in Recruiting. She has carved out a niche in building successful customer/client relationships, maintaining existing relationships and securing new talent. She is looking forward to a successful career with WTMC and gaining from the wealth of knowledge of her colleagues who are subject matters experts in the turnaround industry.
Born in Kentucky, Andrea attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. Go Hilltoppers!!!! She relocated to neighboring Nashville, TN after college where she resided for 10 years before moving to Houston where she has lived for 6 years. She is the proud mother of an uber handsome and busy 1yr old and is a serious shoe shopper in her spare time. Andrea is a self-professed “Shoenista” and also enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and her new hobby of sewing. Her health is also very important to her, so she makes time to work out at least four times a week.
Senior Trainer – SME
If you’ve been fortunate enough to attend a WTMC training class then you’ve been taught by one of the industry’s leading trainers in the person of David Horn. Having been with the company since its inception, Horn teaches classes in Project Management, Scheduling, Planning, Field Execution, and Cost. In addition he performs cold eye reviews of turnaround projects.
Horn attended the University of Houston, is a member of AACE and PMI and has written a training text book in use by the Lone Star College system. He also designed and helped implement the Scheduling system used by BP North America and worked with the Corp of Engineers in the implementation of the cost and scheduling software used worldwide through the “P2 Project” by Congress.
Shawn Wolfe joined WTMC in March of 2008 and has been taking care of the IT needs of the company ever since. As Network Engineer Wolfe brings 17 years of experience in information technology and networks support. He holds certifications from Microsoft including those for systems engineer and IT professional in addition to certifications from Cisco, CompTIA and Apple.
At WTMC he provides day to day network and computer support for the home office staff as well as technical support for employees in the field. Wolfe also manages the WTMC Training Center computers and maintains the company’s servers.
One of the more recent additions to the WTMC team is Personnel Coordinator Shawn Pryor. As the smiling face customers and employees see when they come into the home office Pryor is instrumental in the initial impression of the company.
Her over 25 years of experience in customer relations makes her the perfect choice to welcome visitors to WTMC.
In addition, Pryor is responsible for all employees on-boarding tasks, all incoming and outgoing communications and providing ancillary support to all functions within the company.
When not in the office she enjoys spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Sandra Charles is the newest member of the WTMC team in the home office. In her role as Accounting Coordinator she works extensively with field employees and customers alike. For field employees, she tracks and organizes time sheets and safetysheets to ensure accuracy and timeliness. She also coordinates billing on the customer side as well as accounts payable. She supports all of the Accounting and Benefits team to provide great service to our employees and customers. Her strengths include problem solving, organization and strong attention to detail in all areas of accounting. Sandra and her husband participated in the Special Olympics of Texas Summer Games last May and are looking forward to this year’s event.
Contracts, Safety & Training Administrator
Cindy is the Contracts, Safety & Training Administrator, assisting the department Manager, Arthur Davidson. Cindy brings over 20 years of administrative experience with 12 years in Safety and Training, including her Master Trainer certification with NCCER. Cindy tracks weekly Safety Meeting attendance and reports monthly safety data to WTMC clients. She maintains WTMC electronic filing of contracts and supporting documentation as well. Cindy also manages WTMC web-based accounts with multiple contractor and supplier management systems.
Cindy is the very proud mom of two successful children, a 22 year old son and 16 year old daughter. Her life away from WTMC revolves around her children, family and God. Cindy volunteers many hours a week for the band booster program and the Future Farmers of America program at her daughter’s high school.
